Do nothing day... =)

Because today was teacher's day, we did not have spanish class. The session will be made up later this thursday, which is usually an activity day. This week's activity was watching a movie, so we won't be missing much seeing that I probably wouldn't understand most of the movie if it's played without subtitles.

JS and MK switched off with JL and I and went to the clinic in the morning, like we did last week, only to find out that there was an inspection happening and students weren't allowed. Had we all known earlier, (they actually didn't tell us it was teacher's day today until friday afternoon -.-), we should have planned a trip seeing that we had Friday night - Monday off. Oh well!

We ended up going to Huanchaco again. While I would have really loved to surf, I didn't want to deal with the surfing board damage fiasco again and be forced to shell out extra "dinero." So we went just to shop at the beach front stores and stands. I could a couple of things I really liked=). We then went to dinner at the same restaurant because we didn't know where else to go.

We all did our laundry this past weekend. In peru, there is not dryers, but clothes dry fairly quickly. Here are some pictures from the rooftop (where we hang our clothes for EVERYONE in the family to see, yes even our under clothes) after we were done helping each other hang clothes

 They say to never "air your dirty laundry in public" right???
