Jesus loves the little children...

We had class in the morning, then we went to the orphanage in the afternoon. We all ended up tutoring students in English separately, it was a bit disappointing as we prepped a lot of materials to teach things like animals, colors, body parts,  places, etc in English. Not to mention, it was a bit hard in the beginning to communicate with our students as we did not look up how to ask questions pertaining to tutoring. It was quite a struggle and our students probably had a kick out of us. JS and I probably learned more spanish than we taught them English.

The girl I tutored, Luisa, is quite like me; she does everything really fast (she is also quite intelligent, unlike yours truly), so we finished quite early and she showed me some photo albums. It just made me want to cry, knowing that these kids have no parents and that these older girls will probably never be adopted into a family.

Not long after, other little girls came in the room and it turned into a impromptu photo session.

Dora 1, 2, & 3, according to HS. This picture was actually taken quite non-purposefully. Dora 1, 2, and 3 took my phone and started poking at it. I was scared that they would accidentally delete all my pictures or something, so I tried to take my phone back. I then realize that the screen was in picture taking mode, so I figured, why not =)

Nichol, the other baby that is like me. I had to hijack her for this picture.

Gate to keep babies in or out....

Lunch for today. I don't like potatoes, but I like the sauce
